Our top priority lies in ensuring the quality and safety of our products. We are dedicated to delivering safe and high-quality items, which serves as a fundamental principle for our company. Not only do we incorporate this principle into our daily work routine, but we also prioritize it in every facet of our operations. To achieve this, we have established and invested in state-of-the-art laboratories on-site, enabling us to conduct real-time testing of both incoming fish and finished products. By conducting pre-cutting histamine tests on every individual fish, we can guarantee that any fish failing to meet our rigorous standards is immediately rejected and not processed further. Additionally, each of our facilities undergoes thorough audits and certifications in HACCP and BRC to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
On-board handling is the first line of defense and an important part of food safety and product quality. All crew members are trained in good manufacturing and handling processes. This not only prevents histamine and bacteria growth and formation but allows for a higher quality end product as a result. Our in house and custom traceability system enables us to track an individual product item back to the fish that it was produced from. It is total end to end traceability.
