Even predating the emergence of organized sustainability initiatives, our founders recognized the importance of preserving fish stocks, making it a logical choice for the long-term health of the resource. Our commitment to this ideal is exemplified by our choice of fishing gear. By exclusively utilizing hooks and lines, we target larger, more mature tuna, allowing younger fish to thrive and reproduce. Despite the allure of modern technological gear, we have steadfastly upheld this value. As pioneers in implementing various programs, we have spearheaded sustainable fishing practices in Indonesia. Our ongoing involvement and membership in the Yellowfin Tuna Handline FIP underscore our unwavering dedication to actively participating in sustainable fishing efforts.

From our earliest days, it became evident that we held a moral responsibility to utilize our resources for the betterment of the communities where we operate. Some of Indonesia’s most financially deprived regions are also home to its most bountiful fishing grounds. Since our inception, we have focused on advancing these coastal fisheries and fostering their development. Our commitment to establishing orphanages, clinics, and community centers has yielded significant benefits. Moreover, we actively contribute to language classes for the community and social welfare programs. To ensure our organization positively impacts the socioeconomic landscape, we undergo regular assessments conducted by accredited third-party organizations.
